Perfect Strangers sitcom created by Dale McRaven, comedy show about two people living inther perfectly different lifestyles and attitudes who have to share in an apartment. Humors and laughters brought by their opposite cultures resulting to troubles but it works to rescue each others.

Naïve and idealistic Balki Bartokomous was new to America finding his luck in the big city of Chicago found his cousin Larry Appleton, a high-strung, panicky and hyper-ventilative who escaped from their big family and live in the city. Since Balki got nowhere to go, Larry have to share his apartment and deal with their opposite attitudes but when help calls, each other was always there. In the final seasons, great new things comes on cousins' way, they got promoted on their own position in Chicago newspaper office, The Chicago Chronicles and finally Larry married to his girlfriend Jennifer and Balki to their roommate Mary Anne.

Their first son Alex was over-achieving Reagan-devotee and member of Young Republican, while their daughter Mallory was an underachiever, music obsessed and seems having a never ending crush over boys and Jennifer was an intelligent observer, a precocious youngster just wanted to be a normal kid. Their family filled with fun and laughers while seriously tackles about teen pregnancy, censorship, pills addiction and racial minority. Baby boy Andrew later join as the youngest of Keaton family.

Rainbow Land was a place of total darkness and emptiness, done by two bumble-headed Murky Dismal and Lurky from the gloomy Pits who prefers gray color instructed by Evil One.

A little orphan girl named Wisp is brought to the land of no colors with missions to rescue the seven color kids, find the tool Color Belt that could bring color to the land. With the help of her white sprite sidekick 'Twink' (he used to be red but Murky removed his color), and her egotistical talking horse 'Starlite' with rainbow-colored mane and tail and can fly on the rainbow, she take her journey to find the Sphere of Light in the castle. Wisp rescued all seven color kids, set a fight and won against Dark One using her magical Color Belt and she activate the Star Sprinkles using Color Crystal from mine cave and spread the colors all over the land. Sphere of Light name Wisp as Rainbow Brite with her task as the color keeper.

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends animated TV series, a 1981 Saturday morning show from Marvel Productions Ltd., starring Marvel comic characters Spider-Man and Iceman and introduced new character, Firestar (instead of Fantastic Four's Human Torch to keep away children thinking playing with fire is ok, Firestar have no appearance being of fire) to complete the group. that fight against various villains. The series made it very interesting and awesome with it's excellent balance of action, humor, suspense and occasional touch of romance, plus the popular appearances of common Marvel villains such as Magneto, Videoman, Electro, Doctor Octopus, Juggernaut, The Green Goblin, Scorpion, Dr. Doom, Red Skull, The Beetle etc., as well as pop up of Marvel Universe guest appearances like Iron Man, Captain America, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Sunfire, The Hulk and many more.

Peter Parker (Spiderman), Bobby Drake (Iceman) and Angelica Jones (Firestar) were college students at Empire State University, living with Peter's Aunt May and team-up with together calling themselves “Spider-Friends” fighting various supervillains and defend New York City. Iceman and Firestar first have arguments with their powers counteracting each other (ice and fire) contribute to their failure, Spidey had to play matchmaker for the two by arranging 'date' for them. Angelica grew up poor in a single parent home and posh kids harassing her especially Bonnie which trigger Angel's power resulting to disaster (melt toys, snowmen and set off fire sprinklers) calling her “Miss Angelica Jinx” but she able to control her power and eventually discovered her ability to fly by saving his father falling from a construction accident. Cyclops and Iceman spotted her and give her X-Men sales pitch where she happily join and use her power for good. Their adventures began with their amazing skills as nylon rope web-shooter, freezing ice and flaming fire.

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends premiered on September 12, 1981 and lasted until September 10, 1983, a total of 3 seasons with 24 episodes, now fully available on DVD.

While the 22 feet tall 'Gorgs' creatures (husband, wife and son chasing & catching Fraggles) calling themselves King, Queen & prince Junior on Universe, simple farmers on radish farm where Fraggles steal. Also, Madame Trash Heap 'Marjory' (a compost pile seems with immortal life) who considered an oracle give guidance, lessons/advises to Fraggles "The Trash Heap knows all! The Trash Heap tells all!", with her rat-like heralds Philo & Gunge who provide humor and puns. Humans didn't know the magical world existence while Fraggles call humans 'Silly Creatures of Outer Space, in the end Doc learned about Fraggles, he make friends with them.

Richie Rich was created by publisher/cartoonist Alfred Harvey in 1930s, and Richie's first appearance was on 1953 Harvey Comics issue titled “Little Dot” (a girl who likes polka dots) as back-up character, then in 1957 they produced Richie Rich Comic books, issues and stories (over 2000 issues, possibly the character with most number of published issues in history). In 1980, Hanna-Barbera produced Richie Rich Cartoon TV series based on the comic books (characters appeared to be about 12 years old instead of 7 or 8), featuring the 'poor little rich boy' Richie Rich - the richest boy in the world, who take different mystery adventures, he spend a lot of money for expensive gadgets & devices he used just to solve the mysteries. "Silverhawks" - 80's Animated TV Series

Silverhawks, a weekdays space-bound animated TV series like Thundercats (with voice actors also from Thundercats), was another great cartoon show in the 80s that features good fictional/fantasy stories, very educational theme (about outer space), nice and very cool looks of the characters (viewers noted especially the villains).

The series story line was set on 29^th century, when an alien mob boss & diabolic villain Mon*Star with his gang of thugs escaped their cell at Penal Planet 10, they goes to Limbo's Moonstar and transform themselves into armored beasts. Mon*Star villain henchmen were; a snake-like space goon Yess-Man as all-purpose lackey thrall/sycophant, a dangerous inventor of devilish machines Hardware, a musical mistress Melodia with her killer guitar of evil shattering notes, robot Buzz-saw with his razor sharp cutting blades, weather master Windjammer with his huge tuning fork manipulates weather, master of disguise Molecular(Mo-Lec-U-Lar), steroids minotaur Mumbo Jumbo, etc, they cause chaos whenever wherever possible. Since no human can survive in journey to Limbo Galaxy, bionic cop Cmdr. Stargazer formed a team of heroes called Silverhawks, they let voluntarily transform themselves into cyborg (partly metal, partly real); former Interplanetary Force H head Jonathan Quick as Quicksilver as team leader (with his cyborg bird Tally Hawk), cowboy & country singer Bluegrass as pilot of transport vehicle The Maraj ('mirage') with his weapon Hot Licks a sonic blasting guitar, twins Emily & Will Heart as Steelheart & Steelwill (with their implanted stainless steel hearts) as technicians/designers and strongmen, a mathematical genius/acrobat from Planet of the Mimes Copperkid (spoke through whistles & complex system of tones), etc. They fight and stop Mon*Star's team and protect the universe and the galaxy.

Coach Fox was aided by his two loyal assistant coaches, the stuttering kind-hearted Fox best friend Luther Van Dam and a perpetual dim-witted student Dauber Dybinski, together their sketchy logic and kind-heart towards their job bring comic humors as they deal with annoying and nagging athletic director Howard Burleigh and ladies basketball coach Judy Watkins. In the final episodes, Coach Fox fulfilled his ultimate dream, he become head coach of a professional NFL team (fictional expansion team of Orlando Breakers) and reminisce their college coaching years.

The Father Dowling Mystery TV Series

Based on books written by Ralph McInery, The Father Dowling Mystery TV series is a mystery crime drama in late 1980's. The story is about a Catholic Parish Priest, Father Frank Dowling, who has a knack in solving crimes, love danger-filled police works and stumbles over high crimes, abductions and murders happening around his home town Chicago, Illonois. Father Frank assisted by his street-wise Nun, Sister Stephanie "Steve" Oskowski and a dour housekeeper, Marie Murkin, they solve crime mysteries in spite the FBI Detectives wishes them away from their investigation. Father Frank still feel responsible, with the aide oh Sister Steve who grew up in a rough street houses and knows street language (she could even hot wire a car), they take a closer investigation and find out the suspects behind.

The final episode of the series, Father Frank have to solve the deadly rival battles for political power as the death of Local District Attorney was accused to an innocent boy, they have to expose the real killer to prevent the political rally that could possibly turn into blood bath.

1980's "Tales from the Darkside"

Tales from the Darkside is a popular horror/sci-fi anthology tv series, produced by George A. Romero, which is similar to some sci-fi series like The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limit and Night Gallery. The series composed of short stories of strange tales that are mostly centered on horror stories around us, more likely considered science fictions or fantasy-based. Although few episodes were lighter comedic, some episodes were creepy that some who watch it few or alone scare them to death. The opening foreboding voice-over:

"Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality.
But, there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real,

but not as brightly lit..... A DARKSIDE."

The plot formula of the series comprised from initially normal, mundane situation and then gradually twist into off-kilter, building up suspense and ending up with surprise conclusion, letting the viewers learn to appreciate that things are not often as they seem. The super hi-tech attack helicopter "Airwolf" used by CIA agents to combat terrorists and big-time criminals developed by The Firm, a fictional top-secret CIA division. Airwolf equipped with on-board computer, surveillance and radar system, fly quicker than fastest jets and armed with hi-power weapon was developed by The Firm's scientist Dr. Charles Henry Moffet but twisted, took the Airwolf and attacked the The Firm tower causing to injured the division head Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III. The division head with codename "Archangel" calls the reclusive combat pilot Stringfellow Hawke together with his close friend Dominic Santini who own helicopter "Air Santini", take actions to bring back the Airwolf took by Dr. Moffet to Libya.
