Successfully, her business boomed with many clients knocking her door wanting to meet the brilliant, charismatic boss Remington Steele, and she alibis Remington is always busy on other cases. In one case Laura was working, she encountered a handsome, mysterious and loving thief (Brosnan) escaping murderous thugs (hearing Remington Steele is fictional), he impulsively assumes the Steele's identity & persona and later he choose to use the alias and became Laura's partner.
