Bonanza Season 1 - "A Rose for Lotta"
- The tv show Bonanza was launched on 12th of September 1959 and aired by both Hallmark and TV-land.
- The story was about the family of the Cartwright's who lives in the near Virginia City, Nevada during 1860s, conveying the personal relationship and problems of a western people.
- It was about the mine owners wanting Ponderosa timber and Ben won't sell it to them. The land miners hired an actress to lure Little Joe into town and to hostage him for exchange of the timber. Ben and his sons went into town, and spend the whole night looking for Little Joe, and he is busy hiding from the mine owners. In the end, they found Little Joe dancing with the actress and they ride into the sunset.
