Action drama series Birds of Prey created for television by Laeta Kalogridis was based on DC comic book series with the same title, about the new guardian of New Gotham city, the extraordinary daughter of legendary Batman and his true love Catwoman named Huntress and her fight continuing to protect innocents and helpless.

Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle daughter Helena Kyle is The Huntress, she's a meta human possessing cat-like abilities inherited from her mother who raised her: enhanced agility, sense on dangers, strength, healing and shift eyes to feline form. When Selina died on Joker's revenge, former Batgirl Barbara Gordon also known as Oracle being paralyzed onJoker's shot now the trainor of Helena on technical and weaponry abilities, they met Dinah Lance, another meta-human girl with exploring her powers that can open hidden doors to the mind, telepath and psychic, she's now under codename Black Canary, the trio now are the protectors of New Gotham – the Birds of Prey.

Short-lived Birds of Prey completed 13 hour-long episodes in a season ran from October 2002 to February 2003 on The WB channel.
