Roy Huggins' crime action series Hawaiian Eye, a commercially successful spin-off from series “77 Sunset Strip”, about the adventure two tough and handsome detectives running their own

firm doing their security work for the hotel and as hire out for others, around the exotic Honolulu, Hawaii islands.

Korean war veterans Thomas Jefferson “Tom” Lopaka and Tracy Steele operate out of a swank office at the Hawaiian Village Hotel, they also working as in-house and street detectives around beautiful tropical landscape of Hawaii. They were assisted by comic reliever and ukelele-playing car driver Kim “Kazou Kim” Quisado who has all-over relatives in Hawaii also helping the detectives. Beautiful Hotel Bar and night club singer Chryseis “Cricket” Blake also giving aide to them as photographer. Later Private Eye Greg MacKenzie and Lt. Danny Qoun joined the series as Tom and Tracy's police force contact providing vital information in cracking cases.

Hawaiian Eye completed 134 sixty-minute episodes in 4 seasons aired from October 1959 to April 1963 on ABC.
