The Big Valley drama series was about the saga of richest and most powerful family, The Barkley's living and running their
sprawling thirty-thousand acre ranch in San Joaquin Valley, Stockton, California. The family was headed by beautiful strong-willed matriarch Victoria widow of Tom who was killed bu railroad official, with her four children consists of two sons Jarrod and Nick, daughter Audra and Tom's illegitimate son Heath, they manage their cattle herd, mines, citrus groves and logging camps.
Elder Jarrod was a lawyer and he handles all the family legal issues, while second son was Nick was an aggressive and hot-tempered man who physically manage their family holdings with the assistant of sincere and helpful step-brother Heath in managing the family treasures and the youngest child Audra was a very caring, sensitive, talented horse rider, proud and beautiful daughter. Together they face family problems and share happiness, they bond together against troubles such as bank robbers, horse thieves, land grabbers and Mexican revolutionaries and other con men.
