Rescue 8 was 1950s and first of it's kind paramedic drama 
series based on actual files of the Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Station No. 8. The experiences of two rescue specialist in saving people from dangerous, life-threatening situations and but more in physical-orientation from similar fire-fighter series 15 years later, Emergency! It's total of 73 black and white action/drama episodes were made and produced for the audience, to let them understand, appreciate and give respect for rescue and police force. The show was debuted in 1957 and ran from September 1958 to May 1960 in total of 2 seasons.
Wes Cameron and Skip Johnson were two heroes from the squad LA Fire Rescue Station 8 Department, they were originally not firemen but rescue experts helping hapless souls in different kind of emergency situations such as car accidents, cave-ins, capsized boaters, stranded hikers and many more.
