Family Ties TV Series

Family Ties tv sitcom was created by Gary David Goldberg as a motive, uproarious and thought-provoking show in successfully domestic comedy series ran for seven years. The series focus on how political leftwings with liberal viewpoints in Reagan-era couple try to raise their children with conservative, liberal democrats and republican mindsets.

Public station manager Steven Keaton with his successful architect wife Elyse, they were hippies with their liberal viewpoints during the 1960s, abandon the Peace Corps ways to raise their children and hoped that they would adopt the same value but how they wonder why their children posses strong conservative views. Their first son Alex was over-achieving Reagan-devotee and member of Young Republican, while their daughter Mallory was an underachiever, music obsessed and seems having a never ending crush over boys and Jennifer was an intelligent observer, a precocious youngster just wanted to be a normal kid. Their family filled with fun and laughers while seriously tackles about teen pregnancy, censorship, pills addiction and racial minority. Baby boy Andrew later join as the youngest of Keaton family.

Family Ties comedy series strongly ran for seven seasons in 7 years from September 1982 until May 1989 with total of 180 episodes on NBC.
